They’re finally together. But the Universe seems intent on tearing them apart…
Rory Clarke might not be Lucah Blythe’s boss anymore, but that doesn’t mean they can sneak off to the boardroom for hot sex whenever they want. Keeping their hands off each other in the workplace is harder than they could have imagined, and that’s not the only obstacle they have to deal with. Between Lucah’s troublesome brother Ryder, and Rory’s bff Sloane’s inability to understand locked doors, they’re drowning in drama.
But it’s only about to get a lot worse when a blast from Lucah’s past surfaces, and chaos at Clarke Enterprises threatens to take away everything Rory has worked so hard for. Can the couple weather the storm and surrender to each other, or will the challenges of staying together destroy their relationship for good?

When I think of authors that are my all-time favourites and set the benchmark for everyone else.. Chelsea is in that category of authors. I can’t even begin to explain how much I have adored every single novel I’ve read that has been written by Chelsea. I can tell you now that there had been a fair few. Surrendering To Us has proven that she can write a kick-ass series!
I instantly fell in love with Rory and Lucah in Sweet Surrendering, and I’ve been waiting patiently to continue on with their story. Let’s just say that there may have been some screaming, a little bit of awkward dancing and a whole lot of fangirling when this book hit my iPad. Surrendering To Us was everything I hoped it would be and I was not disappointed at all. I am in awe of the world that Chelsea created. With Rory and Lucah finally progressing with their relationship, they are still hiding from the eyes of the company. The connection between these two characters is undeniable and I never doubted for a second that the speed bumps they face this time around would be treacherous for their relationship. I honestly believe that their love for each other could stand the tests of time. It feels real, it feels right, and it is incredible to be apart of the journey as the characters develop.
Rory is everything I aspire to be; she’s independent, successful and inspiring. I love how she accepts her intelligence and portrays herself with this unique sassiness that is entertaining and draws you into every page. Throughout the novel Rory is faced with many issues; some relating to Lucah and some relating to her father and the family company. I thought that the story line was incredible as it not only focused on the relationship between Rory and Lucah, but the betrayal of those you trust the most. It gives insight into the idea that sometimes the only person you can trust is yourself.
Lucah is just a total babe. If every man was like him, then the world would be an extremely happy place. He deals with a lot through out the novel. Between his family and Rory’s, they have enough drama to last a life time. I love the way that he deals with everything. It definitely goes to show how much he cares for those that he loves. I just really wanted to give him a big hug in those moments when my heart just ached for him.
The biggest revelation out of this book was the suspicious connection between Rory’s best friend, Sloane and Lucah’s brother, Ryder. I am excited that we get to follow their journey sometime in the near future with Dark Surrendering, because I was so intrigued by their story.
This sequel was fun, sexy and incredible. Not only was it everything I hoped for, but I loved every minute of my time with Rory and Lucah. This book contains everything you need for a fast paced, entertaining and memorable read. Between the character development and the story line, Chelsea hit me right in the heart with this one and I could not be more happy with the ending. I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series!
