Kate has given up on love—at least for herself.
She is both blessed and cursed with the ability to sense a romantic connection between two people—a gift that her family passed down for generations. When Kate launches her own matchmaking company, Kinnection, with her two best friends in a cozy New York town, she has to put aside her own romantic disasters to make her business a success.
But when a furious man stalks into her office and accuses her business of being a scam, Kate is given the ultimate challenge to prove herself.
Slade puts himself in her hands and asks Kate to find him love. Enraged at his arrogance but stubbornly eager to prove herself, Kate agrees, dedicating herself to the journey of finding him love…only to find herself falling for him along the way.

Jennifer Probst writes some pretty enjoyable books and her new Love Spells series is just an example of the exceptional books that she has published. After reading her Marriage to a Billionaire series, I had high hopes for this book and I was not disappointed. This is a spin-off of the original series and we get to revisit with those characters that we all came to love beforehand.
Kate has the ability to match people with their perfect partner and has turned her ability into a business. She is definitely one of my favourite leading ladies that Jennifer has created. She is strong, independent and witty but has given up all hope on finding her own happily-ever-after; this is where Slade walks into her life!
Slade is the total package that any girl could fall in love with, though he doesn’t believe in love at all. He is a divorce lawyer that has seen more heartache than any person can bare. Though the instant sparks between both Kate and Slade set off an inevitable path that leads them both to each other. There’s just so much angst and tension between them; I love it!
This is definitely an enjoyable book and I recommend it to everyone. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
