She’s his boss. He doesn’t care. This office isn’t big enough for the two of them…
When Rory Clarke ends up hiring the guy she spent one steamy night with to be her administrative assistant, she’s determined to keep things professional.
Lucas Blaine has other plans for her. He wants Rory, and it’s hard to resist his stunning blue eyes, chin dimple and the way he fills out a suit. Everywhere she looks, there he is, giving her a panty-melting smile and pulling her away for the most amazing (and satisfying) sex she’s ever had in her life.
What starts off as one sexual encounter turns into multiple trysts in and out of the office and the lines she’d tried to draw so carefully are blurring. But the closer they get, the more Rory realises that there are things about Lucas she doesn’t know, things he’s hiding from her. She’ll have to decide if she can surrender to her feelings or get out while she still can!

Excuse me while I fangirl over another great book by Chelsea M. Cameron. I am definitely one of her biggest fans and was so excited to learn that she was taking an approach towards Adult Romance.
Rory is the vice-president of her father’s software company and is in need of a new assistant when hers retires. This is where Lucas walks into her life. He is definitely more than meets the eye as you read further and further into the book.
“You are a remarkable woman, Aurora Clarke. I don’t know why you came into my life, but I’m damn glad that you did.”
As their “friends-with-benefits” relationship progresses, they face many ups and downs. One of these downfalls being the fact that they have to hide their attraction towards each other at work as there is a ‘no dating’ rule between employees in the same department.
Love with Lucah was something I couldn’t control, and something I didn’t want to control. Loving him was letting go. Surrendering.
There is a massive plot twist which I slightly guessed in the first half of the book but was still shocked when the whole drama went down. I was completely rooting for Rory and Lucas to be together the whole time and can say that the ending definitely made me a very happy fangirl. I just hope the next book is Fin and Marisol’s!
