Blog Tour, ARC Review & Giveaway: Found In You (Fixed #2) by Laurelin Paige

Found In You

Alayna Withers has only had one kind of relationship: the kind that makes her obsessive and stalker-crazy. Now that Hudson Pierce has let her into his heart, she’s determined to break down the remaining walls between them so they can build a foundation that’s based on more than just amazing sex. Except Hudson’s not the only one with secrets.

With their pasts pulling them into a web of unfounded mistrust, Alayna turns to the one person who knows Hudson the best—Celia, the woman he almost married. Hoping for insight from someone who understands all sides of the story, Alayna forms a bond with Celia that goes too far—revealing things about Hudson that could end their love for good.

This is the first relationship where Alayna hasn’t spiraled out of control. And she might lose Hudson anyway…

4.5 star review!

**ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.**

I was absolutely devastated when this book ended. I just want more and more Hudson and Laynie in my life!

This book picks up directly after Fixed On You. Laynie is meeting Hudson at his house after they have finally admitted that their emotions and their hearts have changed since their original relationship agreement. Now that both of their intentions are clear, things definitely start to heat up for Hudson and Laynie.

“I’ve never been more serious, Alayna. You’re the first person I’ve ever met who makes me believe I might not be crazy. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Laynie is still extremely vulnerable when it comes to believing Hudson’s feelings are pure, after finding out the way he previously treated his partners. Celia, Hudson’s ‘best friend’, is a major contributor to the issues that develop in her relationship with Hudson throughout the novel. After both agreeing to not communicate with Celia, Laynie still confides in her at every turn. There were times I was yelling at the page saying ‘WTF are you doing!?’; Celia could destroy everything that Hudson and Laynie have built.

There were also times in this novel where I wanted to get physically violent with Hudson’s mother. That lady needs to be taught a lesson in love, respect and dignity. That woman is a villain after the way she has treated Hudson his whole life! GRRRRRR!!!!!

But when Laynie’s past comes walking back into her life unintentionally, she tries painstakingly hard to hide it from Hudson after talking to Celia who constantly coaches her on what Hudson should and shouldn’t be told. Again, I just wanted to slap some sense into Laynie; she tries so hard to confide in everyone except the one person she needs to.. Hudson.

“No one but you.”

I thought Laurelin absolutely rocked this book. There was a major twist towards the end that you don’t expect at all until all the facts are presented in front of you. There may have been a moment when my iPad nearly got thrown at a wall because I was having an emotion ‘WTF’ moment. I cannot wait for more Hudson and Laynie in Forever With You!

About the Author:

Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Mad Men and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Adam Levine. She is represented by Bob Diforio of D4EO Literary Agency.
